After a terrible start of the season, Arsenal have really improved their play latest months. Already qualified for the next round in CL, before Tuesdays match against Olympiakos which they lost 1-3. Van Persie have been outstanding in Novemer and he is the keyplayer for this team at the monent. Everton lost 1-2 at home against Stoke in the weekend, and they are currently in 10.place, ten points behind Arsenal. Last season Arsenal won 2-1 i both matches, aand they are favorite again. but Van Persie need to be as sharpe as he can be, if not, Arsenal will struggle against this Everton team.

Satuday 15:00        Liverpool – QPR
Liverpool lost 3 points against Fulham as they deserved to win that game. But a late goal for Fulham gave them a 1-0 victory. Liverpool is currently number 7 with 23 points, QPR in 12.place with 16 points. 1-1 against WBA in their latest game, lost 1-2 away to Norwich 26.11. Liverpool must push forward as they can not afford to loose points here as well. QPR will surely play defesivly and go for counter attacks. Liverpool is still unbeaten at home, but they have just 2-5-0 in seven matches. QPR is capable to get away from Anfield with points.

Saturday 19:45        Inter – Fiorentina
Inter have been a big disappointment this season, struggling with injuries and the confidence is low. Udinese won 1-0 on Saturday in Milano on Saturday. Inter is currently number 15 with 14 points. All ready 15 points behind Juventus. Fiorentina won 3-0 over Roma on Sunday a kept their good form at home with a clean sheet.  Away from home, they have still not won any game, and they have just scored 1 goal in 6 matches. Inter won 3-1 last season, and have a good record against Fiorentina at San Siro. H2H: 13-1-2.    This season Fiorentina have a good chance to win as Inter is weak at the moment.

Saturday 21:00        Real Madrid – Barcelona
Finally El Clasico. What a game its going to be. Barcelona is currently 6 points behind Real Madrid and can not afford to loose this game. Barcelona haven`t lost a El Claso game since May 2008. Real Madrid won Copa del Rey, after a goalless 90 minute, Ronaldo scored in exta time.  Real Madrid have been fantastic so far, while Barcelona have played weaker than normal away from home. I can not imagine that Barcelona will loose this game. They still are the best team in the world. Its gonna be an outstanding match, with a lot of drama, yellow cards and probably red card as well.

Sunday 16:00        Stoke – Tottenham
Tottenham have won the latest 6 matches, and are currently numer 3 in the league. playing really impressive at the moment, but they have a tough match a head of them. Stoke is not an easy game, and I don`t think Spurs will get away with 3 points here. Struggling with injuries, but a strong squad though. Spurs have won 2-1 at Britannia Stadium the latest two matches, but this time a huge risk of a draw game.  My heart says 3 points to Tottenham, but I fear this match.

Sunday 16:30        Stuttgart – Bayern Munchen
Stuttgart have won 1 match latest 6 matches, and the performance hasn`t been good . In the same periode Bayern have won 3 matches and lost 3. Last season Bayern won 5-3 here, and 6-3, three days later in DFB Pokal. Last time Stuttgart won at home against Bayern was in 2007. Can not see how Stuttgart can win here. I recommend a win for Bayern Munchen.

Sunday: 20:30        Espanyol – Atletico Madrid
Last match this weekend. Barcelona against Madrid at Cornella El Prat. Espanyol is not in their best form and haven`t won since 27.10. Atl.Madris is almost impossible to predict. They are up`s and down, but have a strong team. Beat Ray Vallecano 3-1 at home in their last match. Last season it ended with a 2-2 draw in Barcleona while Espanyol won in Madrid.

Saturday 15:00 Wigan – Arsenal 

Wigan won their second match for the season as they beat Sunderland 2-1 at Stadium of Light. A nice win for The Latics, and the result give them hope that they can survive in the Premier League this season. McCarthy and Kirkland is injured. Arsenal have been in oustanding form, but 1-1 at home against Fulham was quite disappointing for the ambisious club. As long as Van Persie doesn`t score, who else can? Vermaelen scored both goals in this game, and Gunners must trust in Van Persie if they want 3 points here. Its not an easy away game for Arsenal, so they must improve their play a lot. Wilshere, Sagna, Gibbs are all out to this match. Last season it ended 2-2 and a 3-2 victory for Wigan in 2009/2010 season. Arsenal is small favorite, but it will not be a “walk in the park” for The Gunners.

Saturday 17:30 Aston Villa – Manchester United

Aston Villa played 0-0 away to Swansea on Saturday and didn`t play well. 1 point was quite good as Swansea was close to get away with 3 points in that game. Grealish is suspened to this match. United also played disappointing on Saturday as Newcastle got away with point fro Old Trafford. United is not in their best form for the moment, but need to win matches like this, if they want to close the gap to City. Anderson, Owen, Cleverly are all out, as Welbeck is doubtful. The last 3 seasons at Villa Park, has ended with a draw, and I will not be chocked if we see another draw on Saturday. Both teams are struggling to score goals at the moment, so under 2.5 goals seems like a good bet.

Saturday 21:00 Valencia – Espanyol

Valencia is currently number 3 and playing quite good for the moment. Normally very strong at Mestalla, but lost with 1 points against Real Madrid in their last home match. Espanyol normally struggling when they play away from home, and they have lost away to Mallorca, Real Zaragoza, Levante and malage so far. Currently number 8, with 1 points less than Valencia. Valencia have won the 3 latest matches in Valenica against Espanyol, and they are favorite to win again.

Feyenoord welcome PSV to De Kuip. Feyenoord have won the latest 2 matches after a long down periode. Just 4 points in 6 matches is not good enough for the ambisious club before the 2 victories. PSV lost the opening game 1-3 away to AZ, but they are unbeaten latest 13 matches. Currently 3 points behind AZ, and the form is good. Feyenoord won 3-1 last season at home, but PSV won 10-0 in Eindhoven! PSV is small favorite in my opinion. Normally many goals in these matches, so I find good value in over 3.5 goals.

Sunday 14:00 Fiorentina – Roma 

Fiorentina is currently number 16 with 13 points, while Roma is number 7 with 17 points. Fiorentina have only won 1 game latest 9 matches, but only 1 defeat at home this season when Lazio won 2-1 in the beginning of October. Since then, AC Milan have been in Firenze at played 0-0. Roma lost their latest away game 0-2 against Udinese. Haven`t played to good latest weeks, and will get it tough against Fiorentina for sure. Last season the result was 2-2 and I think Fiorentina will get 1 or 3 points on Sunday.

Top match in Belgium. Standard Liege is currently number 4, while Gent is number 2. Both teams is in excellent form with 13 points latest 5 matches. Standard Liege is also playing in Europe League and seem to qualify for the second leg. H2h. Very often home win in these matches and Standard Liege have won 4 out of 5 matches against Gent at Stade de Sclessin.

Ath.Bilbao lost quite surprisingly at home against Granada in their last home match. Before that game, they beat Sevilla 2-1 away from home. Its not easy to predict this Bilbao team, but they have a lot of quality in their team. Mallorca is a good home team, but the result so far, hasn`t been to impressive. Won 2-1 against R.Santander in the last game, before that 0-0 at home against Sevilla. Bilbao doesn`t like to play at Ono Estadi, and they haven`t wonhere since 2007. Mallorca is small favorite to win in my mind.

Derby in Madrid. Real Madrid is on top of the league, while Atletico is struggling. Real Madrid won away to Valencia, while, Atletico beat Levante at home. Ream Madrid at home this season: 5-0-0 and 24-6 in goal difference. Atletico away stats: 0-1-4 and 2-12 in goal difference. Real Madrid have won the latest 6 matches h2h, but in 2009, Atletico played 1-1 at Santiago Bernabeu. It will be a big surprise if they can get away with points on Sunday, but everything can happend in these derby matches.

A difficult match to predict, but I think both teams is quite happy to share the points.

Man.City is on top of the league, 5 points clear of United. Liverpool is currently number 6, 12 points behind City. Liverpool beat Chelsea in London on Sunday, so the confidence is good. They were a litlle bit lucky in that game, but 3 points from Stamford Bridge is quite good. City won 3-1 over Newcastle as expected, and so far in the season they have scored unbelivable 42 goals in 12 matches.   Hargreaves and Gerrard is out. All other playes is fit for the game. Liverpool won 3-0 at home last season, while City won 3-0 in Manchester. Latest 5 matches has ended with a draw. City is favorite to win at Anfield.

Last round in Tippeligaen and Brann is fighting for top 3 which give them EL qual. next year. They have really surprised me this season, as I expected them to end in the middle of the table. Aafk will end as number 9 or 10, so I don`t think the motivation is 100 %. Brann beat Lillestrøm at home on Sunday as Aafk lost 1-3 in Fredrikstad.  H2h in Ålesund: 5-1-1. A big advantage to Aafk here at ColorLine Stadium. Last time Brann won here, was back in 2005. I think they have a good opportunity to win again.

Tromsø will end as number 2 if they win here in Kristiansand, while Start have allready been relegated as they played 1-1 away to Viking on Sunday. Tromsø is full of confidence and motivation and they are normally hard to beat. After a down periode, the victory over Rosenborg was necessary if they want to play in e-cup next season. Odd and Brann could pass Tromsø on the table if they loose here, but I don`t think they will. The season is over for Start and it will surprise me if they are 100 % focused for this game. 1-1 in Kristiansand last year.

PSG travel to Marseille on top of the league. As expected they have been playing quite good so far, and i think they will be even better, later in the season. Marseille is currently number 10, with 12 points less than PSG: Have been struggling with injuries on key players, and the home stats is not better than 3-3-1.  PSG won in Marseille back in 2008, but last season Marseille won 2-1. Its an open game, but for me its more like 40-30-30. Therefor I find value in a draw game.

Saturday 15:00          Manchester City – Newcastle             1.33 – 4.95 – 10.25

Newcastle is the big positive surprise so far in the season. Currently 1 point behind Manchester United and together with Manchester City, they are the only team who are unbeaten after 11 matches. Quite amazing! But they have perhaps the most difficult match of the season a head of them, as City probably have the strongest team in the Premier League. City won both matches last season, and they will win again. I compare Newcastle with Levante in La Liga. I am waiting for a down period for The Magpies, and I think it starts on Saturday.

Bayern Munchen has been impressing and they are currently 5 points ahead of Dortmund at the top of the league. Dortmund playing better at home, so the away stats isn`t better than: 2-2-2 and goal difference: 6-5. Bayern lost their opening game, but the home stats is quite good: 5-0-1 and goal difference 23-1.  Dortmund won for their first time in Munchen last season, 3-1, but I don`t think they will get 3 points here again.

Lazio is in 2.place while Napoli is currently number 8. Serie A looks very open this season, and many teams can be fighting for top 5. Napoli is normally difficult to beat at home, but they have not been impressing so far. 2-1-1 and 6-3 at home is not good enough if they want to fight for the title this season. Lazio have been good so far, and they also have an exciting team. Just 1 loss so far and especially away from home, they have been playing outstanding. Fast counter attack have given them solid wins over Bologna, Fiorentina, Cagliari and Cesena.  An open game but a draw or a close Napoli win is most likely.

Saturday 21:00          Valencia – Real Madrid                  6.50 – 4.35 – 1.47

Valencia welcome Real Madrid to Mestalla, for this exciting match from La Liga. Valencia is currently in 3.place, four points behind Real Madrid. They have been playing quite good, and at home at Mestalla, they are difficult to beat. Fighting for 90 minutes and gave Barcelona big problems during the match that ended with a 2-2 draw. Real Madrid lost 0-1away to Levante and played 0-0 away to Racing Santander earlier in the season. I cannot understand how the away odds is that low. I will not give Real Madrid more than 55 % so a huge value bet that Valencia doesn`t lose. Last season Real Madrid won 6-3 at Mestalla, but the facts was that the season was almost over and Valencia had nothing to play for.  In 2009 Valencia won 3-0.

Sunday 16:00            Chelsea – Liverpool                     1.80 – 3.40 – 4.70

Number 4 and 6 on the table. After being trashed at home against Arsenal, Chelsea won 1-0 away to Blackburn in the last round. I expected them to beat Arsenal, so I was disappointed. Liverpool got just 1 point at home when Swansea managed to get away with a 0-0 draw.  Suarez scored 4 goals for Uruguay in the WC qualifier, so the form is solid. He could be the player who gives Liverpool a victory over their rivals for London. Liverpool won both matches last season.

Important match for both teams. They are currently number 2 and 3 in the league, which give them Europa League qualify. But Brann, Odd and Vålerenga are just 1 and 2 points behind Rosenborg. A draw is not enough for either TIL or RBK, so I guess we will have a very open match.  Tromsø is a strong home team and Rosenborg must play at their very best, if they want a victory. Rosenborg won 3-1 at home in June, and with their valuable experience from e-cup the last season, I think they will win again. 2.90 is a good value bet in my opinion.

Atl.Madrid is favorite to beat Levante at home, but they have lost points as favorite many times the last seasons. Levante have been outstanding so far and they are currently number 4. Two loss in a row, and I think they will struggle here. Atletico won 4-1 last season, and I will not be surprised if we get a similar result again.

Norway travel to Wales for a friendly game. Norway have not played impressive the latest games, and normally the team is not 100 % motivated for friendly games like this. Wales have many stars from Premeir League which is is goof form, such as Bale and Bellamy. I actually see this as a good bet for a home win. I don`t think Norway is capable to get a result here, so 2.70 is quite good for a victory for Wales.

Currently number 11 with 11 points and the match against WBA on Saturday, was a disappointing performance. Jenas is out.  Sunderland won 1-0 last season and, and it could be another close match. Though Sunderland is small favorite in my opinion.

Roma and Milan has both 11 points and currently number 6 and 7. Milan impressed the hole football Europe as they turned 0-3 to half time against Lecce, to a strong 4-3 victory. K.P. Roma beat Palermo 1-0, so they turned the negative performance against Lazio to an important win.  The last 4 out of 5 matches h2h in Rome, has ended with a draw. It will surely be a close match, and another draw is likely. (Both teams is also playing on Wednesday but its not included in the preview)

Derby d`Italia. The two big rivals meet at San Siro. Inter is currently number 16 with 7 points. Juventus is leading the table with 16 points. This is an important match for Inter as they cannot afford to lose here. If they win the gap is just 6 points up to Juventus. but if they lose, they might forget the Trophy this season. Won 1-0 over Chievo on Sunday while Juventus won 2-1 over Atalanta. The last 21 matches h2h at San Siro has ended with 12 draws. Even Inter has been playing disappointing, I feel sure they will be motivated to beat Juventus.  (Both teams is also playing on Wednesday but it’s not included in the preview)

Real Sociedad welcome Real Madrid to Anoeta. Los Blancos has scored impressive 18 goals the latest 4 matches (before Wednesday match against Villarreal) and must be big favorite to win at Anoeta. But Barcelona played 2-2 after leading 2-0 at half time. Sociedad is normally a strong home team, but this season Atl.Bilbao have won here and they played 0-0 against Getafe on Sunday. The 2 latest matches h2h at Anoeta, has ended with a 2-1 victory for Real Madrid. I think they will win again as the form is superb.

Köln was trashed 0-5 against Borussia Dortmund and lost in the cup on Tuesday. Every game is like a cup final, and they have to win this match, And I think they will. Podolski have been fantastic in the latest home matches and he will be important again. If he can perform at his very best, Augsburg will leave Köln with no point.

Tottenham won 2-1 away to Blackburn on Sunday and keep up the pressure for the important 4.place. As always, Spurs is struggling with injuries. King is doubtful, while Kranjcar, Corluka, Gallas, Huddlestone and Dawson is out. QPR beat Chelsea 1-0 at home and the club is full of confidence. But, I don`t think they will perform as good as they did on Sunday. Tottenham at WHL is one of the toughest matches of the season, and I will not be shocked if Spurs win this match with 2 or 3 goals.

Malaga was expected to give Ream Madrid a tough match for the points on Satursday, but Los Blancos was leading 4-0 at half time. Malaga must improve if they want to keep up the Champions League dream next season, so matches like this, must give the ambitious club three points. Espanyol have beat Vallecano and Santander 1-0 away from home the latest matches and the form is quite good. Playing at home against Real Betis Wednesday evening and could pass Malaga on the table before the match on Sunday. Genoa is currently 4 points behind Genoa normally struggling away from home and this match at Juventus Arena is not an easy game. Ajax is currently number 6 while Feyenoord is 1 point ahead of them. After an impressing start of this season, Ajax have been struggling in the latest matches, Just 3 points latest 4 matches is not good enough for the club. Maybe CL is disturbing for them, the fact is that they are fighting against Lyon for the second place in the group behind Real Madrid. But if they want to play in CL next season as well, they have to start winning again. Ajax is favorite and they normally enjoy playing against Feyenoord. The battle of Manchester. Both teams won in the CL on Tuesday and this match will surely be the toughest battle between these two rivals for a long time. City is currently number one as United 2 points behind in second place. United won Community Shields in August 3-2, but the strength and confidence in this City squad will surely give United big problems at Old Trafford. United have won the 3 latest h2h at Old Trafford, but I think City is full of confidence after the late Aguerro goal on Tuesday which gave them 3 important points. Just 2 defeats in 7 matches, in the other hand, only 1 victory this season. They are difficult to beat at home and I see them as favorite in this match,. Lille is a strong home team while Lyon is not as strong as previous seasons. Though Lyon is 1 points ahead of Lille on 3. place, but the squad was better last season. Both teams is playing in CL this season, but Lille is in last place and struggling. H2h normally very close. Latest 32 macthes, 12 wins for Lille, 10 draw and 10 wins for Lyon.
